Whether mobile phone radiation is harmful to health, this is still a heat debate among individuals. People also wonder if the wired earphones emit radiation.
Radiation is simply energy produced by an object; a broiling steak emits infrared radiation from its heat, for example. Mobile phones produce radiation from the radio waves they transmit. With a headset, you can put the phone on your desk or car console, moving it away from your body to decrease your exposure considerably. A wired headset contributes very little of its own radiation. You can achieve a similar reduction by using your cell's speaker function.
